November Announcements

Upcoming events:

  • Big Apple Roundup’s annual Thanksgiving big meeting will be held on November 22nd at 7:30pm at The LGBT Center (208 W. 13th St). There will be a 3 speaker meeting, sobriety countdown, and fellowship after the meeting.

ANNIVERSARY PARTY!

  • Save the date! This year’s anniversary party will be held on January 5th at Spoonfed restaurant.

  • Separate funds are being collected at meetings to go towards necessities such as food, entertainment, and venue. Keep an eye out for the second passing of the basket at your next meeting!

  • The Rainbow Room Anniversary Party Planning Committee is looking for volunteers to help prepare for the big night! Planning includes entertainment, food, venue selection, logistical stuff, and more! The committee is also looking for raffle item/services donations.

  • If you are interested in helping with the event, email rainbowroomsecretary@gmail.com to be put in touch with the social co-chair.

Intergroup Volunteers Needed!

  • Intergroup has a consistent need for phone volunteers for the following shifts:

    • Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 9 to 1:30

    • Friday, 1:30 to 6

  • Please consider volunteering. One year of continuous sobriety is required. For more information, email volunteer@nyintergroup.org

Hospitals & Institutions Commitment

  • The Rainbow Room brings a meeting to the VA hospital on the first and last
    Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm. Please see the meeting chair or email rainbowroomsecretary@gmail.com for contact information if you are interested in attending or speaking. The only requirement for speaking is 90 days of sobriety.
